APC Smart UPS 750 after battery replacement says still warning: end of life battery
Hello, changed batteries on apc smart ups 750 and it says still (in about section of the menu) that i have replaced battery in 2018. It passes battery test but still says that battery is end of life. How do i reset the battery date ? Can it be done without computer ? I already tried to disconnect the battery and held down off button for 10sec, no change.

The battery installation date can be updated using the following methods if applicable:
If the unit has a LCD screen you can disconnect the battery cable connector and wait for the system to declare a fault. Wait another ten seconds than reconnect the cable.
The LCD will prompt you to confirm if this is a new battery. Toggle from No to yes and enter the month / year and hit save.
NMC / Power Chute: You can go to the UPS tab and enter the new battery installation date.
NOTE: Once the battery installation date has been updated. You must manually initiate a self test. Once complete manually initiate a battery calibration with at least 30% attached load.
Doing so will allow the system to better reflect the battery capacity on the display, NMC, Power Chute Software when on battery only mode.
