You’ll need to provide the event & data logs for the problem UPS. Along with the serial number of the unit and battery installation date.
The battery will have a production date so upload a photo or state what the alphanumeric values are here.
Based only on the limited information you have provided it sounds like the battery is EOL / dead.
As such you should replace the battery to see if the problem is resolved. When a new battery is installed the following action items must be performed:
Date: The installation date must be entered as this will reset internal counters and charging tables if applicable.
Self Test: Once the new battery is (100%) charged manually initiate a self test. Either through the panel, NMC, Power Chute Software.
Calibration: Once the self test has completed allow the battery to recover and come to 100% SOC (State of Charge).
Manually initiate a battery calibration with at least (30%) attached load. Once complete the battery level indicator will be more accurate in its display while under battery only mode.
Allow the battery to recover and come to 100% SOC.
NOTE: The average service life of the battery is 2-5 years. Based on usage, temperature, and environmental conditions.
If a new battery does (NOT) solve the problem while also completing all the required steps.
The problem can be the following so check each one!
Connector / Crimp: Verify all connectors and crimps that connect to each cell is firm and tight including wiring. Look for any obvious rust and oxidation.
Fuse: Verify the fuse on the battery cartridge is fine by using a meter set to continuity.
Hardware: If all the above are fine than the UPS is faulty.
