Hi,
I have a question regarding DC output voltage on 3000XLi. I'm seeing battery output voltage of 55.05VDC on ten out of the twenty nine of these units in service. The others are showing 216vDC (there abouts). Whcich is the correct reading? Is this a fault with batteries or someting else?
See file attached.
Appreciate your help.

does it look like this? http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SUA3000XL
or this?

I am thinking it is the second one and if so, 55vDC is correct for this unit.

some of the 3000XL's have a 48vDC battery system so 55vDC is normal. other UPS models, like Smart UPS RT models, have batteries that use a 192v battery system and they float around 208-15vDC. to me, it seems like these are different models of UPS and they both very well could be correct. we have a few different models of 3000 if they are all "3000VA".
i'd suggest getting us the exact model numbers on the units from the white sticker on the unit if possible but if you can't get us that since you arent local, what does it say on the UPS->About menu? i could make an educated guess from there.
