Does anybody out there know what the life expectancy for an APC SUA1000RM2U UPS is? I have some units that are 8 years old.

In my case, what is the recommended UPS replacement time for the 1000 RM?

It depends on the load that will be plugged-in to this device. If it is within 1000VA we the latest Smart-UPS product line the SMT1000 or SMT1500 and if you are looking for those units that are capable of having an extended run feature or those that can be attached to an external batteries we have SMX1000 and SMX1.5kVA variants.
