APC PDU Metered Rack with RJ-12 interface

Hi,

Can you please help me verify if APC has PDU Metered Rack that has RJ-12 interface? what are its part numbers?

Also, can you define what is "pass through"? Is it something like a management console or other means?

any Rack PDU has the same serial connection that uses an RJ-12 connector. Virtually any PDU that begins with AP78xx, AP79xx, AP88xx, AP89xx or AP86xx. they utilize a proprietary cable and pinout and the cable part number that they ship with - 940-0144A.

where do you see pass through? is this when you log into it?

Thanks for answering my question. just to be clear, any models that you specify can match with RJ-12 but need to provide additional cable part number 940-0144A to comply with the RJ-12 interface? But I can't find the part number.

Can you please help me what specific product it is and where to locate this cable.

well, this cable ships with any Rack PDUs. we have so many different models so I can't tell you which item you have.

ANY sku listed in that guide that is a metered rack or switched rack PDU (so everything except basic), has this interface on board. to use it, you need the 940-0144A cable. when you buy a PDU, this cable is included to help you connect and configure the PDU. if you need spares, you need to contact tech support for your region since we don't sell the cable or you can purchase it outright. i am not endorsing this site but here is an example of a site to purchase the cable since we don't sell it directly.
