APC PCBE Software not support Hyper-V

Hi guys,

My APC: APC Smart-UPS 2200VA USB & Serial 230V

When i install APC PowerChute Business Edition Software on my server ( Window server 2008, 64bit) with Hyper-V installed, I get a error " THIS VERSION IS NOT SUPPORT HYPER-V" ?

have another Version support Hyper-V ?

OR IF i buy a UPS Network Management Card, can i resolve problem above ? i can install APC PowerChute Business Edition Software which not error " THIS VERSION IS NOT SUPPORT HYPER-V" ?

Please give me some information to resolve this error...

yes, you must buy the PCNS for Hyper-V single server license. the free PCNS will not install on the system running Hyper-V.

yes, powerchute network shutdown is what you need for Hyper-V. you must use a network management card in conjunction with the specific powerchute network shutdown for hyper-v.

but i have a question about network management card...

IF i buy a network management card.

Must i buy a PowerChute Network Shutdown for Hyper-V - Single Physical Server License ?

Or use accompanying software of network management card, have it support Hyper-V ?

And shutdow process of window server have guest os on Hyper-V ?
