APC Matrix 300 - Smart Battery - Work-Around
I have been lucky enough to get hold of a Matrix3000 but have NO battery packs.
I DO have a BANK of batteries to the tune of 48V and 24KwH.. My simple thinking is that IF I could get hold of a Smart-Battery Interface board, then I should be able to treat the battery bank as an Upsized-Smart-Battery.
Anyone got any thoughts as to what I can't see wrong with this, and any idea where I can get the Smart-Battery control board..
I'm in Australia, and don't see any of these packs floating around, to give it a try..
I do see them in the US, but the freight cost is out of the question and folks won't "Remove" the board and just sent that.
