APC Controller boards

Hello,

Please i need help on locating a control board 640-0800F for APC smart 3000 RM UPS (SUA3000RMI3U). I could not get this from anyone but I saw 640-0800G.

Can anyone kindly tell me the difference between APC Controller Board 640-0800F and APC Controller Board 640-0800G Power Controllers.

Can I install 640-0800G for the UPS in replacement for 640-0800F because the two cards look the same to me.

I am thinking the one with 640-0800F is fast Ethernet while 640-0800G is gigabit Ethernet.

I will appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, these UPSs are not user serviceable. Schematics are also proprietary. Thus, you won't find this information publicly and we cannot provide it here for you. Only authorized service partners can repair these (depending on the region), or they should be replaced and not repaired at the board level.

If anyone wants to respond with general information that you can utilize at your own risk, they can do so.

I can tell you that based on the part number, they are likely interchangeable since letter revision changes typically indicate minor changes.
