I have a APC 1500RMUNC, the outlet groups automatically turn off, an on. I have replaced the ups 3 times with brand new units. I have 150, of these ups in use at my company this is a new issue to me. Is there, a problem with the input power on the circuit that is causing this to happen ? I went through the logs, I don't see the unit switching to battery due to loss of input power. Thanks.

Hi,
The issue has happened on multiple units at that location. There is not a power down schedule, or load shedding. I did check the unit for an overload condition, that doesn't appear to be the case. Since I changed the sensitivity, to low I"ve been having better luck. I will continue to monitor the unit. Thanks for you help.

Hi,
What is the exact model number of the unit? You will find the information on a bar code stick on the back of the Smart-UPS.
When the power is cut to the outlet groups is anything logged? Also, is there anything attached to the unit via USB or Serial?

Hi, there is nothing attached to the USB or serial ports. There is nothing logged, no transfer to battery, or low volt. I did change the sensitivy to low.

Hi,
If the issue is only happening with 1 unit it is possible the unit needs to be replaced. You should verify that there is not a power down scheduled on the NMC and that there is nothing configured for load shedding. Of course those events should be logged so I do not expect you will find a scheduled shutdown or load shedding. Some thing that could cause the issue is an over load. If the unit is over loaded it could shutdown abruptly.
