Hi,
I've got Smart-UPS RT 8000 RM XL with AP9631 (manufactured in 2013).
UPS and Mgt card was running fine - till yesterday.
I needed to assign new IP address so entered new IP and rebooted management interface (via web gui).
And now AP9631 is dead - not even started to blink.
I removed and reinstalled AP card - but it did nothing.
I also rebooted UPS.
Nothing helped so far.
How to diagnose the issue?
I've got a second the same UPS with AP card - and need to do exactly the same operation - and don't want to end with another problem.
Best regards
Jarek

I think that I know what could happened - I entered mask 255.255.55.0 instead of 255.255.255.0.
Could it cause AP card to stopped working? I know that mask is totally wrong ... How to solve that?

Your options are to connect via CLI / Serial connection and correct the network attributes or default the network settings to DHCP.
Another option is to format the NMC to a factory state by removing the RJ45 Ethernet cable.
Than using a paper clip / thin screw driver press and hold the reset button for 25-30 seconds or until you see the orange LED change from rapid blinking to solid orange than release.
It will take approximately 30-60 seconds to format the NMC. Once completed the system will be in a default state with DHCP enabled.
All previous user defined settings will be erased so will need to enter them again.
You can than search for the NMC IP Address via your router / firewall. Once found you may enter the NMC internal web browser using the default user name & password of: apc
