We've got a Symmetra PX 3 phase 40 Kw system. I would like to add a NMC card to it. To my knowledge it has never had one. I've got a AP9631, and I have flashed it with 7.1.2 3 phase firmware - used a SU UPS as the donor victim while I flashed and tested the card. Of course, the card can't talk to that UPS with 3 phase firmware on it. So the question is which physical slot to put the card in? There's a document describing what order things are to be added, but the pictures of what slot doesn't seem to match what is in our PX. Does slot matter? Also, any chance that inserting the NMC could cause any bad reaction on the part of the UPS - load drop, etc?

Is anyone on here familiar with the 3 phase PX and whether there will be any issues installing the NMC?
Thanks

Appreciate the response. Just logged in after not being on for a while since there's not a whole lot of activity.
