Hi Andres,
If you purchased the AP9631 as an add on an option, it usually comes with a firmware intended for Smart-UPS products by default. You likely just need to apply a firmware upgrade for the AP9631 to "talk" to your Galaxy VM UPS. You can confirm this by going to About->Network in web interface if it lets you log in. You'll probably see application module 'sumx.'
For this product, I suggest you contact your local support office as often, the version of firmware for the AP9631 must be coordinated with the current UPS firmware version you have. They will check all of that for you based on your specific model of GVM.
Just say you purchased an AP9631 and need the Galaxy VM NMC firmware for it. You may also be asked for your UPS firmware version as I noted which is available through the UPS display (since NMC has wrong firmware). You could also state that.
