I recently "upgraded" the firmware on this device to the latest version available on the APC website. After doing so, the on board NMC software will no longer send txt alerts to my verizon phone reliably. About 1 in 5 fail to send. Before I upgraded the firmware, it would send txt alert emails with 100% reliability. I tried every setting possible so I strongly believe this problem is something introduced by the new firmware. I have checked my mail server SMTP logs and the problem is happening in the communication between my SMTP server and the NMC. My SMTP server is located on the same local LAN that the NMC is, and my log files are lacking an entry indicating that the communication between the NMC and my SMTP server did not complete correctly. Keep in mind that all of this worked reliably before the firmware upgrade.
Stupidly, I didn't backup my old firmware. Now I need to find a place or someone where I can download older firmware versions to restore proper email functionality. Please help!
Thank you,
Nate

Thank you for responding. After some digging I have resolved my issue. I was able to retrieve an older firmware version off of another website.
Thank you again..
