AP9617 firmware upgrade failed

Hi

I have recently upgraded my 9617 network management card in my 2200 rm smartups. First time was succesfully but the web interface said error lost communication with the ups.

Then I tried a different software, read it here. But it failed, and now the upgrade software can´t login anymore. And the web interface is not responding.

Reset button back on the card diddent help...

I can ping the card, and get a reply, still the old ip from before my first upgrade attempt

Snmp traps is not working as well, so all my graphs are dead

What can i do now?, buy a new card?

just try apc as the username and the password as well.

ive seen something weird like this before too. try any combination of apc as the username and/or password in conjuction with your old username and password.

you should still be able to recover this with a little bit of tinkering.

can you try to upgrade the firmware again?

you can try it by following these [FTP upgrade instructions|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=8515] rather than using the executable/wizard if that is what you did before.

make sure if you are using a Smart UPS, you are using the SUMX firmware (SFSUMX358 is the part number).

if that doesnt work, you can attempt to do it through XMODEM, worst case scenario.

Hmm it did not work...

220 AP9617 Network Management Card AOS v2.5.3 FTP server ready.

But it wont accept my old username/password... Any idea?
