Hello!
Relatively new to these and I have a feeling I'm missing something silly here... We have an X1500 with an AP9360. 2 in fact. I'm running into an SMTP configuration error on both of them while testing Notifications. Server response is 412 4.3.2 Service not available.
The odd thing is, the first one worked when I initially set it up but no longer does. I didn't realize this until I setup the second one and noticed its error.
Exchange 2010 and we have other applications that are able to email through it successfully.
Email Recipient is Local and Enabled.
DNS is populated and correctly resolves the mail server IP via FQDN.
Basic info below and can happily provide any additional information.

Hi Jesse,
I was Googling and found a few things noted here: http://forums.msexchange.org/Cant_Receive_Emails_with_Exchange_2010/m_1800523973/tm.htm and here: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/483836-exchange-2013-421-4-3-2-service-not-available
It seems it is possible that you need to verify your exchange server connectors are set up properly? Is it possible that exchange is restricting senders based on IP or not allowing anonymous connections if the NMC's "from" address is not an actual email user account?
Is authentication configured and set up properly on the NMC? I was thinking too if you had any access to your exchange log maybe there is something helpful there?
As a side note, your NMC firmware is a bit out of date. At this time I do not think it is contributing to the problem but I just wanted to mention it. The latest version is AOS/sumx v6.4.0. It has many security related upgrades. It is available here - http://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/download/ if you were interested (Just select Filter by Software/Firmware - UPS Network Management Cards and look for part number SFSUMX640 and you can use these instructions (http://www.schneider-electric.us/en/faqs/FA156047) to complete the upgrade.

Ahhh yes. Ye ole dummy check - Thanks Angela. It was restrictions on the Exchange server via IP. I'm still confused how the first one was working fine for a while back in March. Oh well. The current solution is the correct one. Much appreciated!!!
I also updated firmware and, aside from the pleasant slight interface changes, there are some other helpful features too.
