I have a AP9211 / AP9606 and need to reset the admin password. The AP9606 serial number is WA0030006231

Format the NMC by pressing the reset button for 20+ seconds as outlined in this APC FAQ:

The 20 second reset did not work. I have seen posts by BILLP that responded with a "backdoor password" specific to the serial number of the AP9606 card serial number "WA0030006231 ". Is that available?

You’ll need to contact APC Technical Support to obtain that information. Whether or not BillP replies back and offers the back door password who knows?!?
Im not sure why the format process would not resolve the issue.
Given, that is the formal APC method to erase the NMC card and return it to a factory default state.
If the format procedure was followed exactly you would see the LED’s on the NMC reflect the FAQ document as noted.
Did you confirm the NMC Ethernet LED’s reflected the FAQ Document?!? Did you see a new device in router / firewall DHCP Lease tables?!?
Does the switch show that specific port is connected to the NMC and calls out what the IP Address is?

Thee 9606 never responded to the reset. The ip address never reset to dhcp. I need the reset password. The 9606 is not responding?
