I was tring to access the device via serial console using minicom.
I set my connection setting to "9600 8N1" based on the documetation for password reset but didn't get any prompt.

Found it, it was the hardware flow control, it was under a diffrent config section in the tool i used (minicom).
after disabling it, i was able to get a prompt.
Thank you.

Can you confirm what serial cable you're using? Are you also using any adapters? Is the PDU operating normally and there are LEDs on the display and ethernet jack?
Furthermore, make sure scroll lock is not on.

The cable I use is the one that came with the package,
In the documentation I see it numbered as "940-0144A" and this is what I see embbeded on the connector's head.
I can confirm that the serial port it self is working , becuse i can connect to other devices like Switchs serial console.
but I can't connect to the PDU.

This is a tough one without being right in front of it. Can you comment on the question regarding LEDs on the PDU that I mentioned?

Is that a second PDU behind it? Does that one work?
Try holding down that pinhole reset button for 20 seconds. When you are doing that correctly, the status LED on the Ethernet jack (the one that has a checkmark or X next to it) will flash/pulse green. When it's time to let go, it will change to orange and format/wipe flash memory. See if then anything changes regarding your serial access.
