Hi there,
I need to get a couple of terminators for an AP8959 PDU and followed @BillP's advice in handful of other posts to call local SE support and request 0W05545A or 0J-0W05545A.
They told me that they no longer carry spare parts (in Australia at least), and if a terminator failed while the PDU is covered under warranty they would send me an entirely new PDU with a terminator. Unfortunately the PDU is no longer under warranty, so I am hoping there is an alternate channel to source them from.
Are there any recommendations of where I can get them from that isn't incredibly expensive (there are a couple on Ebay that are almost AU$100 shipped)? If not, are there any published specifications detailing what resistors are required and what pins them need to be terminated to so I can make my own?
Thanks.

Good Morning
Hope you are well.
The terminator has a 120ohm resistor between pin 1 and 2 of the RJ45 connector. If SE cant support , its best to make one up yourself.
Best Regards
You may have to measure the pins, and figure out where the resistor is located.

Hi @MorneMeintjes,
Thanks for the information and apologies for the late reply.
My AP8959 had a stuck blue display and was showing communication lost errors which I saw some people were able to resolve by adding a terminator. I made one up myself following your advice re the pinout, but it didn't fix the problem. I have since swapped the NMC and communication cable with another unit (which also included an original terminator), and while the new display works and I can see the status, I am still getting communication lost errors.
I think the PDU itself has failed unfortunately, but I measured the resistance across pins 1 and 2 of the terminator that came with the new NMC and can confirm you are 100% correct, there is 120 ohms across pins 1 and 2 of the RJ45 connector.
It is easier to see the wires on the older 0W04161 terminator as they are orange and make it pretty clear.
Thanks again!
