AP8931 firmware update failure

Pardon me if this is not the correct forum for a PDU question.

I have a AP8931 PDU I am trying to update to current firmware.  The site had me download APC_NMC3_RPDU_2506_EN.zip.   I unpacked the zip file and launched the NMC Firmware Update Utility.  I  get the following error:

Firmware distribution does not match target device platform; this could be due to a corrupt distribution.

You may consider SSH / CLI, FTP, SCP. Ideally you would be connected directly using the APC proprietary serial cable to upgrade the PDU.

As this removes all network related barriers such as firewall / antivirus / authentication.
