AP8841 - SNMP Monitoring query
Hi,
I am currently trying to monitor A8841 PDU on SNMP. I am trying to understand the MIB and SNMP data of this device. As I can see, there are 2 sets of data rPDU and rPDU2.
Can you help me with a brief explanation of difference between rPDU and rPDU2 and what needs to be considered for monitoring the device.

Hi,
rPDU2 is the 2nd generation of rPDU products.
2nd-gen rPDU will answer both their own OIDs, and also 1st-gen for backwards compatibility. The rPDU2 OIDs are usually preferred as they'll return richer information, with the 1st-gen OIDs being preferred only when that backwards-compatibility is required.
