Hello,
We monitor all our APC UPS systems with SNMP.
When a battery is broken we see this with the OID upsAdvBatteryReplaceIndicator (1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.4.0).
But I have a couple of UPS systems with the following warning:
There is however no SNMP OID that is triggered when these warning and critical messages are displayed on the webgui. upsAdvBatteryReplaceIndicator for both systems shows "1" indicating that the battery doesn't need replacing.
Running version AP9630 / v6.5.0 / Firmware Revision UPS 03.5 (ID1015)

Hi @Pietje,
I believe this is a lifecycle alarm that's based off the battery age - so it's most likely in reference to the upsAdvBatteryRecommendedReplaceDate oid (.1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.21.0)
So this alert is intended as pro-active - the other oids you're looking at are derived from the current battery performance. As I understand it the intent here is to help you schedule replacements before they're a problem, rather than after.

My UPS model is Smart-UPS SRT 3000: Unknown.
I have the problem that upsAdvBatteryReplaceIndicator Is always showing value 1 even though the battery needs to be replaced. I need this information correctly. Is there any solution to that?
upsAdvBatteryRecommendedReplaceDate is correct but the value is string which is no use for me.

I have a similar issue about this topic.
I am adding the Battery Replacement sensor to monitor the SRVPM6KRIL model UPS via PRTG. I am adding an Advanced user-defined SNMP sensor, but despite trying with 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.21.0 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.4.0, I am getting an error saying that no such object exists. Is there a way to resolve this?
