Any idea what causes this and how to rectify it?
I have another post previous to this that details some similar behaviour. I've done a power reset but that hasn't sorted it.

Sure - you'll need to contact technical support and tell them you need qty 1 of part number 0W04161A or the lower profile version 0W05545A. 0W05545A is the newer style that we should have but either will work. Either part number does the same job but just the size is different. Those part numbers are for qty 1 and if we don't have any in your region then we have kits for 2 as well if you apply 0J prefix to either part number. For instance, 0J-0W05545A would be the part number for qty 2 lower profile terminators.
So basically, ask them for qty 1 but if we don't have those, they can send you a kit of two
For your issue though, just install one terminator and you'll be fine. Save the other.

I know you found one knowledge base in your last post but for this model, this other one also applies -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=US〈=en&id=FA156187
Can you confirm you have a terminator physically installed or provide a picture of the display if you're not sure? This terminator needs to be installed and should be the first thing we verified because I presume your unit is a little older based on the firmware where the terminator did not come pre-installed and could be missing. I believe you also said your unit was used in your previous post so perhaps this was not included..

Hi Angela,
Thanks for that post - it looks like you're bang on the button. There is no terminator in either IN or OUT socket on the PDU.
So, I guess what I need to do is get a hold of one of these... any ideas where?
Thank you!
