AP8641 Network Log In / Web or Serial
I am trying to add the AP8641 to my network. It has a IP address 10.193.3.128. My network is a 192.168.1.X. It is connected to a managed switch which auto assigns the IP addresses.
I did buy this pdu used, so my question is, how do I change the ip address of this pdu?
I tried the web login which obviously wouldnt work. I have a USB to Serial connector for this pdu but i can not access the CLi to the pdu. i tried using Putty on Win10 and WinXP system.

Hello,
If the PDU was purchased used and already has an IP on it, then the previous users configuration would still be present. You can reset the PDU (and any NMC) back to default configuration by pressing and holding the pinhole "reset" button for ~20 seconds. That will put the user name and password back to apc / apc, and reset the IP address to all 0's, with a boot mode of DHCP.
