AP7953 Rlink RX/TX 10/100 Light
Before i preformed a firmware update via serial the RLink RX/TX 10/100 light was on and everything was working fine. After the update and multiple reboots the light still remains off (even after multiple reboots). The PDU shows valid IP Settings with a solid green light. Also the PDU is connected to a switch that i know is on and recieving power.Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can you confirm what type of network switch you're using? i.e. Cisco Nexus
Also, are you able to serial into the device to confirm what the ethernet port speed is showing as as well as what it is configured to? If you have that information about the switch port side, that'd be good to know too.

What I would suggest is playing with the AP7953 port speed to see if you can force it to a particular speed rather than letting it do auto. I've seen issues like this before with certain types of switches. From what I understand on Nexus switches, you can maybe set the port to 100 with no duplex specified and then press the pinhole reset button on the management card to do a soft restart on (without affecting the outlets) and see if it comes back up. If it doesn't, I'd serial into the PDU and try to force it to 100F on that side and then I think you will likely need to reboot to apply that setting and see if it comes back up.

Thank you very much!. We forced the switch port that the PDU was connected to to 100 and it came back up immediately. We have about 10 7953's in different racks and i have never seen this happen. But now i know how to fix it if ever occurs. Thanks again! Great response time on your end,
