Hi I've upgraded my AP7920 firmware following this post:
http://forums.apc.com/spaces/6/racks-rack-accessories-cooling/forums/general/8774/ap7920
After FTP the AOS file 3.7.4 over to the PDU I did a reboot but now I've got a red light next to ethernet port and serial port and nothing on "Amps" (pls see attached pic); serial connection doesn't work anymore (no username request, nothing). Did I brick my unit? Can I try any recovery?
Thanks in advance.

Hmm.
This means the display/Network Management Card (NMC) inside was not able to initialize. Your outlets may have also not turned back on since the NMC initializes the relays for them (though if your PDU did not lose input power, they may have stayed on).
The first thing I would try here is to push the pinhole reset button once and release. Give it 1 minute and see if anything happens. If it does not, I'd recommend you unplug the AP7920 for 2 minutes, and then plug it back in and give it another few minutes to try and boot back up. That front display takes what seems like forever when you're staring at it
Can you confirm you FTP'd the files using binary transfer mode also?
Let me know what happens based on those few suggestions and we'll go from there.
