Hi,
I'm trying to get the statuses of my AP7922 PDU via SNMP.
For that I'm using the rPDUOutletStausTable object. The problem is that if the physical bank switch on the is not taken into account on this object. eg: the outlet #5 (on bank 1) in on, but the bank 1 switch is off -> the rPDUOutletStausTable that the outlet is powered (whereas it shouldn't). I looked in the MIB (SFPMIB405) for an object containing the status of the bank switches with no luck.
So my question is how can I know if an outlet is really powered or not?
Thanks.

i am confused. what is the "bank switch status" - are you talking about the circuit breaker?
the network management card cannot tell if the circuit breaker is tripped or not. it can however, provided you with outlet status. keep in mind though that if the outlet is commanded and is in the ON state and the circuit breaker trips, the status will not change to off. (that is why we have a low load threshold and bank current readings).
if you want outlet state, look at .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.5.1.1.4 or .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.apc.products.hardware.rPDU.rPDUOutlet.rPDUOutletStatus.rPDUOutletStatusTable.rPDUOutletStatusEntry.rPDUOutletStatusOutletState
Getting this variable will return the outlet state. If the outlet is on, the outletStatusOn (1) value will be returned. If the outlet is off, the outletStatusOff (2) value will be returned.
you should get a response on this OID for each outlet.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes, I was talking about the circuit breaker. Too bad the information is not available.
As a workaround I'm trying to read the current load, per bank, on the 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.2.3.1.1.2 object (rPDULoadStatusLoad), problem is: the values are always 0. Am I looking at the wrong place?

we have had FA156142 @ http://www.apc.com/site/support/index.cfm/faq/ for this topic.
with that said, you do have the correct OID. can you tell me what you are getting back specifically? 3 instances like the knowledge says? (total, bank 1, bank2)?
what value are you expecting back? does each bank have load on it per the web UI?

Yes I get the three instances.
The values I expect are 0 on the first bank, a non null value on the second (around 1amp).
From the web UI I get the same values, so I guess it's not SNMP related...
