I recently purchased an AP7900 off of EBay, loaded with Version 3.7.3 firmware. Item works great however, is it all possible to configure the Email notifications to a POP3 SMTP server? I don’t see an option to configure the authentication (IE Password), if this not doable to a POP3 server what other options are there?

Hi,
This product supports SMTP on port 25 only with no email authentication unfortunately. The replacement product AP7900B does offer this.
Depending on your email service and ISP configuration, you may still be able to get this to work. Email relay may be an option or your ISP and email service still could work.
Have a look here to start -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156078 Embedded in that article is a link to a second knowledge base article if you're using services like Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail, et. (Refer to NMC1 and v3.X firmware references where noted.)
