Hello Good Afternoon,
What is the expected life span of your InRow RC100 air conditioner (Chilled water )?
I have several ACRC100 air conditioners at my Data center that were manufactured in 2007; and we are seeing corrosion at the bottom section of the evaporator coil. Please see the pictures below.
Is there a chemical that you the manufacturer recommend to mitigate this corrosion?
Note: The fin area of the coils are in very good condition. The corrosion is only at the end where the copper make that loop.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Wayne.
In general the units life expectancy is 10 years. For the cooling units they will be affected by the environment they are in, which will prolong or shorten the life expectancy of the units. We do not have any specific cleaners for the coil. The coil is copper tubes with aluminium fins and steel supports. You will have to make sure the cleaner does not have any corrosive effect on these materials. The cleaner should also not corrode the plastic of the condensate pan. Customers have had success cleaning rust off the coil with CLR in the past.
Thank you
