Just got 4 8832's and am trying to get them on the network. They have link, with flashing amber, but are not able to obtain a dhcp address. Sniffing packets, I don't even see a DHCP attempt. They try for IPv6, but I'm not using it on this network segment. Other devices on this network are able to obtain addresses. They are running 6.4.6, and I've cleared and check configs multiple times, as well as trying 6.4.4, no luck. SHOWS P+ N? A+ (after turning off ipv6 to test, N4? N6+ when it's enabled and has obtained a link local IP). Networking works when configured manual, but I'd really prefer DHCP.
Any ideas or things to try?

Hi Darrell,
I'd try a "format" to factory reset the PDUs, assuming these were already just new with no configuration them to lose.
To do this, hold down the pinhole reset button that is on the display. You'll want to hold it for 20 seconds. It will flash quickly green and then switch to orange/amber when you can let go. Then, it will reboot the management interface and then re-try.
Alternatively, in the console, you can check first by entering 'tcpip' command with no options to make sure it says IPv4: enabled (as opposed to disabled). Also enter the 'boot' command to make sure it says DHCP is actually enabled for IPv4 and that APC Cookie is NOT required.
Sorry, those suggestions are a little backwards
Hopefully one of them gets you further in getting DHCP to work.

Tried the pinhole reset, and a 'format' command, no changes. Definitely set for dhcp and no cookie (and my dhcp server has the cookie configured). Still odd that I don't even see an attempt on the wire, don't know what's up with that.
We manually configured them and they are working that way, but not optimal for us, for sure.

Hmm, I have seen something similar once before but never got to the bottom of it. It was on one of the UPS Network Management Cards and it was only a single card as well. But I don't believe IPv4 worked at all.. you got it working on manual IP at least. I recall only seeing IPv6 working in my scenario as well no matter what I did.
If you're interested and I assume these would be in warranty, we could always try to arrange replacing one of the display modules for you in one of the PDUs which includes the network management card module in it. I could also have you return the display to me directly to look at it and the configuration and see if I can pinpoint the problem.
Let me know.

Had to check up with my facilities guys, but it turns out we did buy these new recently, so we should be under warranty.
I've definitely got the same scenario here, IPv6 works fine, but IPv4 doesn't and I happen to need v4. Can you advance replace the part? We've got these 4 in production with static configs now, so I'd need to get the part in before I sent one back.
