I am trying to configure a 7750 transfer switch but am having a heck of a time. Something is defiantly wrong but not sure if it is the unit. I am able to get into the system via the serial connection and view everything up until option 11 NMS configuration or something like that. It tells me to change my baud to 2400 and reconnect. I do so however, when I try to log in my keyboard refuses to type the correct letters. Seems like an emulation problem but I can seem to get anywhere other than very frustrated. Can someone tell me please how to get past this. I have tried using a 9617 & 9619 manangement card which both give me the same results.

Can you post a screenshot of what you see? This does not sound familiar..first things that come to mind are if Scroll Lock is on within your terminal program but usually that yields different symptoms.
Also, besides the 2400 baud rate, what other settings are you using for the port?
