Activate your Warranty

To get your Warranty Service Certificate, you are required to activate your extended warranty.    To do so, the following information is required: 1. The Service Serial Number, located on the back of the Service Pack:   2. The Service Registration Key Number, located inside the Service Pack:   3. The UPS Model Number and Serial Number, located on a label at the back of the UPS you want to register: NOTE: This information is also available in the UPS Status page.   4. UPS Purchase Date: Located on your UPS order, invoice or shipping receipt.   Activate your Extended Warranty To activate your extended warranty, visit APC Entitlement Registration    At APC Entitlement Registration, select APC Extended Warranty Registration.  Enter the APC Service Registration Key and Service Serial Number, and click Continue   Registration.  Enter the UPS Model Number, Serial Number, Purchase Date, and buy information, and   click Continue Registration.  Enter your customer information, including contact name, phone number, email address, address and UPS location address. Click Continue Registration.  Answer any optional questions of your choice, and click Finish Registration.  Print the registration receipt for your records. An APC Warranty Service Certificate is sent to your email address in a few days following registration completion.

Select your Warranty

The Web Portal displays the extended warranty options that are available for your UPS:   1.  Go to Dashboard > View UPS and click on Warranty. Click Renewal Options.   NOTES: Not all customers can buy a Standard or Advanced plan as these changes are part of a phased rollout. If you cannot buy a plan for your device, you will be redirected to the APC™ UPS Warranty page. Select Buy 1 Year or Buy 3 Year to continue.   2.  The Web Portal will direct you to the APC website, where your warranty can be purchased.

UPS Warranty Extension

Each APC UPS is shipped with a Factory Warranty. The Web Portal notifies you when the factory warranty expiration date approaches.   APC provides a warranty extension option for your UPS: Warranty extension covers the cost of repair or replacement of the UPS, and replacement of the UPS Batteries. It provides a 24/7 Toll-free customer support line, expedited shipping of UPS and parts, and free return shipping for used parts. Select a 1-year warranty extension for a low cost option, or a 3-year extension for the best value option. Warranty options are selected by the model of your UPS. If configured, your reseller will be notified when your UPS warranty is due to expire.

Order your Warranty

To order your UPS Warranty, follow the instructions below:   On the APC website, add your selected Warranty Extension Service Pack to your cart and select Checkout. Complete the Checkout process, including the physical street address to which the Service Pack will be shipped. The Service Pack is shipped at the rate of shipping chosen during checkout. The Service Pack contains a 16-digit Service Registration Number. Use this number to register your UPS at APC Entitlement Registration, to activate your Warranty Extension Service Pack.
