using SpaceLynk as a timer and a counter

Any one used spacelynk as a counter and timer for a signal channel?

I have a project has about 1000 channels, so if I need to count how many times each of them has been turned on and how long each of them has been turned one, how many spacelynks do i need? Is one enough?

Hello,

spaceLYnk can handle more than 3000 group address (1000 objects, 1000 timers, 1000 counters). Just keep in mind if channels rehresh (change period) is too fast, this might have some troubles with that.

Can you specify detailed how fast and whitch datatype are those channels?

all channels are switches, we just need to calculate ON/OFF times and run time. So, how many SL do we need for 1000 switch channels.

BTW, a third party willing to let us write their SDK， is that possible to achieve for SL?

I think one can handle this, but for optimal performance I suggest you use two spaceLYnks.
