The SSL certificate must be CA signed so you need to buy it, you could create a self signed certificate with OpenSSL, upload it to the controller and add the CA certificate used to “self sign” the certificate to the trusted root of your machine running the browser.

But it’s highly recommended to use a CA signed certificate when deploying HTTPS and use IT to help you with this as for them this is day to day business..

Dear Türker,

The LSS100100 uses a self-signed certificate supplied with the product by default. If you change the communication to HTTPS, the web browser will ask you to confirm the exception in order to continue.
You can import a new certificate here System Configuration > Services > HTTP SSL Certificate. This is probably not your task as the network specialist is supposed to do this for you.

Are you asking how to create another self-signed certificate for the device itself or for the whole domain where the controllers are located? In case of creating another self-signed certificate there is no plugin/script available, at least from our side and anyway this must be configured according your network setup.

Thank you Petr,

Currently the browser is unable open the web interface of the LBB100100 FW 3.0.0 HW 3.1. Where can I find the SSL Certificate from Wiser so that I can install to System Configuration > Services > HTTP SSL Certificate?

Best Regards

Türker

Hello Ozturker,

you are unable to open it via https ... but when you go for the unsecure http-way you should be able to reach the device.

Kind regards
Thomas
