I'm unable to connect to app with google play application "Wiser for KNX". Is there compatibility matrix?

Wiser version 2.3.0

Server and client in same network. I can access device from web.

There are some updates released in the past, so i would advise to upgrade to 2.6.0 first and i think that will solve your issue…

there is a side label on the device or you can take a look in flashys page upgrade firmware dialogue window

imx28 means HW1.xx

imx6 is HW2.xx and 3.xx

If you need remote programming over 3671 you should use 2.6.0, due to cyber security reasons this is not possible on 2.6.1, there is an update in the pipeline to enter a remote IP but until then i would advise 2.6.0

And another option is just try a FW, if it’s not the correct one it won’t be accepted 😉

Still no. But I think it is our partner specific problem. They don't have time and are expecting me to go to end customer and make all work, so temporary case is suspended..

I have this issue I install V2.6.1 "Cant program vai 3671" I think it's an IT issue and the IT man check the setting from his side several times 😞

is there a way to overcome this limitation in the current 2.6.1 version?

and does cybersecurity affect the email because the SL stops sending emails?

For remote programming there is an update in development so we can add 1 external IP address that is allowed to connect via 3671, This update is still under review by the cyber security team, as holidays are ending i expect it quite soon now..

For mail, i have no indication so far that mail is affected by changes…

I tried to connect remotely on our office SL V2.6.1 and it's connected. How?

but I have an issue on a site with a firewall that the remote connection not working on the same version (2.6.1)!

while the IT open the ports, while when they try to add the 3671 port on the DMZ they find it blocked!

Hi,

You mentioned 3671 (ETS port) but the topic states moblie app, what is exactly blocked?

Remote programming from an external IP is still blocked due to security reasons in FW 2.6.1 and 2.6.2, there is a solution in progress but not released yet.

The reason why you can connect to the office is probably because you have a VPN tunnel running to the office and the connection is concidered as local.

This won't mean your PC is not running VPN software, the hotspot is just your GW to the internet, so that makes no difference when using VPN software

regarding VPN we don't have a VPN  at all!

I just want to be 100% Sure its either firmware or firewall blocking the 3671 remote connection port

Are you sure the device in your office is running 2.6.1 and not 2.6.0?

In theorie you shouldn't be able to connect over a public IP to port 3671 when running 2.6.1
