Hello everybody,
Can somebody tell if you have connected more than 31 modbus rtu devices to the spacelynk, using a repeater?
I don´t find anything related to that subject, the User Guide just mention (I leave the capture in the attachments), the maximum number of devices, but does mention without repeater.
Thanks for the suport

most SE documents list 31 devices as a theoretical maximum.
the realitiy is you would have to ramp down polling to support it and it may still have reliability problems .
also some SE devices use more than 1 modbus address
(like ACB switches that can require 2 or 3 modbus addresses ).

always better to use EGX150 when lots of modbus device in other area. So much problem otherwise.

Hello Horacio,
It is maybe wrong formatting. Without repeater, you can have max 31 Modbus devices.
With repeater you can extend this number. Always keep in mind that when you will pooling fast the data from Modbus devices CPU load can rapidly increase and cause malfunction of whole system.
Kind regards
David
