Long Press on MTN6215-0410

Hi,

I seem to be unable to activate the long press for a switch on my Spacelogic TouchUnit.
The manual says I should activate the "multiple operation" switch and this should give me options for short/long press and release. 
When I select "multiple operation" there are only options for four outputs that can do different things. There no options for long/short etc.
Yes, the long press time in general is set (it is also impossible to not set it).

Has anybody an idea how to solve this?

I don't think there is an "edge" function available at the moment (just checked), only solution i see is to use a scene output button with long press enabled an use a logic block to convert for example value = 0 to 1 bit OFF and value = 128 (long press output) to 1 bit ON...

thank you for your reply and your suggested work around.
I was specifically referring to the options described in the manual und "multiple operations".
There seem to be no long/short press options in my menu?

You are fully right! There is something written in the manual what is in real life not there.
It seems it was included accidently.

But it general the 4" is capable to support a long press functionality within some function like Dimm/Blind/Scene but NOT as a kind of Edge-Function which you may know from other of our pushbutton.

You can use of course the workaround proposed by Erwin ... please have in mind that the parameter "Long operation for screen after" is for the whole device! Means if you adapt it, to realize a workaround for edge function, it influences also the long press time for the other configured functions like Dimming, Shutter/Blind etc..

Are there any plans to update the software on these devices? The product seems unpolished and unfinished in its current state. In addition to the case Robert_W is pointing out here there also seems to be other lacking features, labels are not centered, touch input is way to sensitive (if you try to swipe to a screen you will accidentally press a button or function). All in all I am little disappointed as the discontinued touch panels were pretty good as they were. My expectation is that a new product should be a little bit better than the product it replaces - I don't feel this product ticks that box.
