Hello everyone,
I’m facing an issue on a KNX project using two Schneider devices:
MTN6194-6010
MTN6194-6010S
Both devices are configured exactly the same way in ETS.
On the MTN6194-6010, everything works fine:
S.hort press - A for switching
Long press - B as a 1-byte value
However, on the MTN6194-6010S, the long press doesn’t trigger any action.
The communication object linked to the long press is not sent, even though the configuration was copied directly from the working 6010 device.
Here’s what I’ve already checked:
S.hort/long press parameters are identical.
Communication objects are properly linked.
Device download has been repeated several times.
I’m wondering if there’s a functional difference between the MTN6194-6010 and MTN6194-6010S, or if there’s a specific parameter required for long-press detection on the “S” version.
Has anyone already encountered this issue or found a workaround?
Thanks a lot for your help,
David G

After analysis by Schneider technical service, the MTN6194-6010S device was confirmed to be faulty.
The long-press function issue is caused by a hardware defect, not by configuration.

Hi David!
To be honest ... not heard yet.
Can you please share the ETS-Project with me?
If you have doubts to share the whole project ...
Please make a copy of the project and delete everything beside the both products.
Many THANKS for your hint/support!
