Holiday schedule issue in homelynk/Spacelynk

Hello folks!,

Some system integrators here in Brazil are having issues when they will input a holiday to do a exeption on schedule using homelynk or spacelynk.

As pictures attached, when you put the date that you want set a holiday, april 21 for exemple, the system bring two diferent dates, 19 april to 20 april.

Have anyone passthru this issue?

This happen in about 10 homelynks and 1 spacelynk, all with the last firmware version.

Hello Gustavo,

Here is link to update package with fix to your bug.

Please keep in mind we have no chance to test all functions on hL, but we do some smoke tests and everything is good so far.

Before you use this package, please make project backup and try this package on one homeLYnk and check if everything what you need is OK. Then you can fix all homeLYnks. Same procedure follow when you will update to upcomming FW version. In new FW version we will bring improved shedulers. Release date of new FW should be end of April.

Please let me know result and if everything is good, close this topic.

Hello Gustavo,

I do not have the same issue with my HL (FW 1.5.1) with Google Chrome or Firefox.

I hope I got your problem in the right way. Can you create a video so that we can see

when your problem appears and can you share what kind of FW on your devices and

which versions of the browser you have.

thanks a lot for the videos! Strange to see that we did more or less the same but with different results.

Can you please share the FW-Version which is running on this devices? Because I couldnt see it within the videos.

You find this information within the left bottom corner. The actual ones are 1.5.1 for HL and 1.2.1 for SL.

Hi Thomas,

As told by System Integrator, the version of firmware in this homelynk is 1.5.1.

They tried in spacelynk in 1.2.1 and 1.1.1 firmware version

And they tried using Mozilla Firefox (50.1.0) and Google Chrome (55.0.2883.87 m).

Do you think that region configuration, in the date/time setting, could cause this issue?

Developer is busy, but he promise us give some fix package until end of this week.

We here in Brazil have curiosity about why this issue happen.... Is it happen only in UTC of Brazil?

Hello Gustavo,

No for some reason this issue is depending on Windows time-zone settings. If you have set on Windows time-zone UTC -XX (UTC minus some hours), than this issue is shown.

Please let me know results.

Hi David,

The System integrator that identified this issue returned with result after install the hotfix that was sent.

He did 4 tests, and I will describe bellow the test and the results:

Test1: using the setup screen to create a specific date and time event (March 6, 5:00PM).

All ok, the event was created correctly

Test2: using the visualization screen to create a specific date and time event (March 6, 5:00PM).

Problem! The event was created in March 5.

Test3: using the setup screen to create a specific date event  (january 1, all day).

Problem!The event was created begining in december 31 to january 1

Test4: using the visualization screen to create a specific date event  (january 1, all day).

Problem! The event was created begining in december 30 to  december 31.

May hotfix correct this problems?

Hello Gustavo,

We have tried once more utc fix and works ok. First of all, you should totally clean your browser cache otherwise you'll get wrong dates of holidays. It happened me too, but after I've cleaned the cache works fine.

Here is video after installed fix with - 3 hours from UTC
