Heating actuator inquire

Hello,

I have heating actuator MTN6730-0001, and I want to disable the actuator in the summer.

I try  to use the summer/winter change-over object, but it didn't react as expected (maybe I missed something)

what I want to achieve:

when trigger this object it should close all valves and disable any external valve commands.

I tried to use this object because its value saved in the memory and will be restored after power fail 

So does it possible to achieve this function via this summer/winter object or should I use another object, but I prefer to be immune against power fail.

any updates about the summer/winter changeover object and how to use it properly?

sorry for the late reply!

The Summer/Winter-Mode is not exactly what you are looking for as it changes only setpoints for the valve output for emergency operation or forced position.

I would propose to work with the function "forced positon".
The forced position function you can activate with a dedicated object also, you can defind a certain valve value and you can define the behaivour for a power failure/ETS-Download.



With the summer/winter function you can even influence this forced values.
Meaning if you have a forced value of 0% .... this can be a good value during the summer monthes ... but maybe a big mistake within the wintertime. So for the wintertime you could set 10% in order not to coole down the room fully.



So please have a deeper look on the function "forced position". And if needed on the function "Summer/Winter".
