DALI Gateway MTN6725-0003 two application available 7312 and 7308. What to choose? KNX DALI-Gateway Basic REG-K/1/16/64

Hello

I can't download configuration to DALI Gateway MTN6725-0003 KNX DALI-Gateway Basic REG-K/1/16/64 i get info:

"Memory block entry failed."

"Programming(Appl.): faulty."

I have MTN6725-0003 DALI Gateway. What application to choose? What to check to be able to choose. In download there are two versions available:

There was new application 7312 and DCA released for KNX DALI gateway basic about two years ago. It has enhanced functionality compared to the old one, most important feature is that it now also allows single ECG control (old application only supported the control of groups).

The new application is based on new firmware (0.3.0 and higher). New products from stock are meanwhile equipped with this new firmware.

DALI gateways with new firmware cannot be commissioned with old application, and gateways with old firmware cannot be commissioned with new application.

If you have a new gateway with FW 0.3.x but want to use the old application (ie. for replacement in existing installation) there is a special downgrade firmware (0.2.8 downgrade) that will allow the usage of old application. Only this downgrade version has to be used as it is "unconditional" and will delete all parts of new FW. When upgrading "old" device (FW 0.2.8 or lower) you first have to install FW 0.3.0 as only this version is "unconditional". Other versions are "conditional" and do keep the existing configuration during the FW upgrade.
