Connecting HL/SL - U.motion ?

Does exist dcumentation about how to connect homelynk with U.motion, which devices are allowed?, how many?, arquitectures.... etc

I tested homeLYnk/spaceLYnk with U-motion Touch Panel 15 only:

=> not OK:

we have a non official FW enabling to view homeLYnk/spaceLYnk vizualization on the U-motion Touch Panel 15 but it is not good for an industrial solution :

you can only see homeLYnk/spaceLYnk home page (not possible to point panel directly to vizualization page ) and you can only browse to vizualization if you set no login/pwd for vizualization in homeLYnk/spaceLYnk.

=> U-motion Touch Panel 15 team is managing the required evolution, we wait for new U-motion Touch Panel 15 FW to validate.

Client has a TP model MT6260-0310 with prblems for use with RGB-DMX ballasts (Case 1545627 - scaled and answered to L2).

Do You have a firm/configuration to connect to HL to solve difficulties connecting RGB's ?

It is a important client for SCH.

We are also testing the 15" panel with the firmware v1.0.2 that enables the linking with HL. But after a reset on the 15"TP i can't get the visualistaion back. I get a black screen and that's it...

I did a hard reset, power off, with no succes

I can still acces the webinterface with the browser and did a factory reset. After setting the parameters back still the same problem...

Did again a hard reset with no succes...

The display boots and stops @ "booting the kernel" than it turns black and after some time it reboots...

Homelynk is up and running so that is not the problem, and it did work before....

Here some screenshot from the settings...

Anyone some sugestions...

Hello Koen,

I had same issue than you with FW: Patch_U.motion-Touch_v1.0.2.15718

You have to get the new FW: Patch_U.motion-Touch_v1.0.2c.15718    (be careful quite same name but only "c" added in naming! (I attached it to this answer)

As you did, even if the Umotion screen is black screen: connect through Umotion touch panel Web configuration server ( http://Umotion_IP_Address ) and do a FW update...

=> at my side, now it works (but don't forget to remove user authentication for vizualization in homeLYnk/spaceLynk to be enabled to browse in homeLYnk/spaceLynk vizualization else you will block by having to enter vizualization login/pwd which is not possible at moment except with an USB keyboard connected to Umotion touch panel directly)

=> To enhance the user touch experience with Umotion touch panel , I advice to add in homeLYnk/spaceLynk, this small configuration (enabling to remove bad experience = not action when your touch is a too long press)

Go in homeLYnk/spaceLynk configuration page => go in "VisGraphics" => go in "edit Custom CSS": it opens an editor (if you have text inside or unreadable characters: select all and remove all (by default this file has to be empty)

Add following text:

html, body, div, span, object,form, input, h1, h2, button, label, a, img {

-moz-user-select: none; 

-webkit-user-select: none;

-webkit-user-drag: none;

}
