Hello SpaceLogic Community. Just seeing if anyone can help me with this one. I have installed a LSS5500NAC and made a schedule which was running fine for a month. Then for some reason the clock went way out of sync and I noticed the NAC's NTP was not locked. I synced the time from my computer with it, which will work for a couple of hours, then it will go way out of sync again. The clock synchronization is enabled in the NTP settings and has all the servers 1 to 4 filled in but it wont seem to lock? I have taken some screen shots remotely and I can ping google from the NAC's network utilitie so it's definitely connected to the internet but I can't ping the NTP server. I also tried
0.au.pool.ntp.org
and I get the bad address error also.
I'm running Version 1.17.0 firmwear. Any sugestions???

Hi Craig
I can reproduce your issue, but only if my controller is configured with DHCP for the network interface, When configured in this way i am unable to get any response to ping events from the controllers tools that include a URL, so the URL for NTP would appear not to be resolving. hence not locked.
We are investigating the issue to ID root cause.
However for now a possible work around,
if you wish to use DHCP for IP assignment, then please try with the DNS 1 and DNS 2 fields left blank and save. these changes, on reboot check the URL is resolving using PING tools on the controller.
If that does not work, I had success by assigning a Static IP address and all settings to the controller, I used the stock standard DNS1 = 8.8.8.8 and DNS 2 = 8.8.4.4 Save and apply the address and then again attempt the Ping for the URL,
We will comment further when identifying the root cause, as to why the DNS services did not resolve the URL

Thanks mate,
Sorry for the slow reply, been overseas.
Just before I left I managed to get the NTP status to lock. The sites network is managed with a UniFi Dream Machine Pro router and I noticed on the Ubiquiti Community that other were also having NTP problems on their network when they used a URL for the NTP. I have changed Server 1 to 131.188.3.221 and the clock locked straight away.
