window and check the "Loop Time" box in the Inspector. If this option is grayed out, it may be because the animation is read-only, often the case with assets from the Asset Store. In such cases, you can duplicate the animation (Ctrl+D) and edit the looping options on the new copy. For older Unity versions, you might need to use the Animation window and change the dropdown menu from "Default" to "Loop". When working with imported 3D animations, select the imported FBX file and check the "Loop Time" option in the Inspector. For more control, you can switch the Inspector to Debug Mode, which allows you to change the clip's Wrap Mode to options like Loop, PingPong, or Clamp Forever. Remember that proper looping is crucial for animations like walk cycles to avoid foot sliding or jerky motions, so ensure that the start and end frames have similar poses for a smooth loop.
