Hello SpaceLogic Community,
I have been using my script to retrieve weather data for multiple NACs running firmware V1.18 without any issues. However, I'm working on a new project, and the script isn't functioning on the NAC2 (V1.18) Iβm using. It simply returns nil. Everything is configured the same and I'm testing on same network at the moment. Could this be due to missing files in the NAC2 libraries, and is there a way to test for this?

Hello @Richard_M . I have worked it out. You need something in the NAC's DNS server π. I have put 8.8.8.8 in and now it works perfectly. Thanks for your help!

Hi Craig. did you get this working? I just tried the script on both v1.18.0 and v2.1.0 and they both return a result.
I was going to suggest making sure that "Block unsafe functions in scripts" is disabled but I also tried with it enabled & disabled and the script worked both times.

Hello Richard
No, I haven't been able to get this working. It's strange
I seem to be missing "Block unsafe functions in scripts" in the NAC2

ah, what firmware are you using?
You must be on firmware 1.x.x. The "Block unsafe functions..." option was introduced in v2+

Hello Richard
Yer, the NAC2 is on V1.18.0. I have 3 x 5000ETP10W Ethernet touch panels on this site. So V2 firmwear is a no go!

Hi @Craig_DnA . Curiosity got the better of me so I tried this on a AC2 with 1.18.0 (I couldn't find a NAC2 to test) and it worked.
I noticed that if the AC2 didn't have internet access it returned a nil. Perhaps yours was having access problems?

I'm glad you got it working. That's a setting we won't forget to check in the future π
