Positive Displacement Pump application

Hi everyone ,

I have an applications which contains a Positive Displacement Pump with viscous syrup in F&B segment  .

when selecting a suitable VFD to run the motor , the catalogues shows that we can select ATV630 in heavy duty rated , which can operate in Constant torque with (150% overload capability ) , but some other people recommended using ATV930 !!

Anyone had a similar case before ?

You have to know that both Drives ATV600 and ATV900 as well can make both constant torque and variable torque. The point is on the control system where it is possible to see the difference in the functions, meaning the 600 has many functions relative to pumps where ATV900 will have fonctions relative to different type such as conveyors and other hoisting functions... Have a look in the user's manual to get much more details on each capabilities of drives...
