I have an ATV71E5D55N4 vfd drives a service lift with high moment of inertia,
I can not calculate load moment of inertia and gear ratio to calculate exact braking resistor value and power, so what is the recomended braking resistor value for ATV71E5D55N4?

A rapid and efficient way to determine a braking resistor on Hoisting system is to use the half of motor power on power resistance, it means in you case if you have a 55kW motor, I would suggest a 25 kW resistor will be enough, regarding the ohmic resistor, I advise you to have a look in the documentation where mini value are indicated.
