Have an existing site in which we are trying to add a smart connector for 3rd party integration. SmartConnector v2.4 shall be compatible however I could not find any reference in the installation manual.
Is there a benefit upgrading the site EBO version to 1.9.4.29 from the SC application perspective?

Hi!
You should be fine with any version of Smart Connector with 1.9.2.45. The issues with Smart Connector/EBO were in earlier versions of EBO/SC :).
Best Regards,

Wouldn't "any" version of Smart Connector work? The Smart Connector is only presenting an EWS server to EBO. So maybe is it comes down to the extension itself.

Hi Richard; Yes that is what I believe with "any version" compatibility - but I have not bench tested so worth asking the question.
With earlier versions of EBO; there were some glitches with SC so also worthwhile checking the compatibility and fixed issues.

Fair enough. I've used 2.2.130 with 1.9.2.45 and above (up to 3.1.x). I've never gone the other way round (latest Smart Conn with older EBO versions)

I had issues reading Extended logs that came from BACnet points. I believe we needed EBO 1.9.3+ to resolve it (but i may be wrong, it might have been 1.9.2+).
