Please read. We get a lot of people specifying the need for a Smart Connector when the 3rd part systems have a native protocol like BACnet, so unless you need a richer experience beyond what the 3rd party system gives with say BACnet then you might not need a Smart Connector. Reading this document will help you make an informed decision.
