Hi,
SmartConnector About shows "version 2.4.40" after I have upgraded from version 2.4.40 to version 2.5.4. How can I know which version is installed?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
The version number should show 2.5.4, so it seems like the upgrade hasn't succeeded. Was there no indication of this from the installer?
Try restarting the computer and shutting down the service before trying again.

Hi,
I have come across a similar issue upgrading 2.4.22 to 2.5.5.93. I did not get any errors during the upgrade process and it took a reasonable amount of time to complete. After it completed I checked in the webUI under "About" and it still says 2.4.22. I tried running the installer again and it give the standard windows installer option of "Modify", "Repair" or "Uninstall". I tried both Modify and Repair which both finished almost instantly. I deleted all cached history in case the browser was holding some information. Restarted the machine. It still shows 2.4.22 as the version in webUI.
I checked under the "Windows Programs Install" and found that here it states that it is version 2.5.5 and had an install date that matched when I did it.
However as it does not match the webUI version how can I be sure this has updated?
Is this a known bug?
I did report this using the email address under the FAQ for the Smartconnector Server (buildingslabs@gmail.com) but I am not sure this is still a valid email address.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as it is holding up an upgrade to an active site. All of the above was conducted on the customers test environment to make sure it would work prior to going to production.
