Hello community,
we are trying to develop a middleware that brings data to PME from a RESTful server, for that we need the Ecostruxure Web Service Specification document and guidance to achieve this.
I have attached a diagram of the solution we are looking for.
Looking forward to your ideas and documents,
BR

Sure I could help you out, let me know where you need help.
If you have the main structure of the Smart Connector DLL ready, then adding RESTful to it isn't going to be too hard.
More details would be beneficial.

Is there any documentation available from the REST Server that describes the authentication, possible requests on the endpoint and payload formats? A YAML or Swagger environment would be really helpful to write a SC that is doing the required task, next to that what information from the REST endpoint needs to flow to PME, is that listed already? Next to that i think you also need EBO in between, so receive from SC to EBO and write from EBO to EWS of PME as i have not seen any direct connections to PME so far from the SC framework, i have to check with the team if that is the case.

I've never seen it in action but I'm pretty sure EWS support was added in later versions of PME, allowing you to go use the traditional route of just setting up an EWS server in SmartConnector.
Try checking in the PME forum if your version has support for adding an EWS client interface, as that would simplify the solution significantly.
